IPC Team Resource Kit:

An Aid to Designing and Implementing Interprofessional Collaboration Workshops for Clinical Healthcare Teams

The Partnered Learning Project (PLP) simultaneously focused on increasing interprofessional collaboration capacity among practicing healthcare workers and pre-licensure healthcare students.  Six clinical teams of practicing healthcare workers each participated in an interprofessional collaboration workshop.  The PLP Team Resource Kit has been designed to share some of the knowledge and insights that were gained through the planning and implementation of the PLP team workshops.

Each section of this Resource Kit is organized under four headings:

  • Process
  • Materials
  • Experience / Lessons
  • Ongoing Challenges

Some very comprehensive IPC related toolkits have been developed through other initiatives.  Several of these are referenced under the Resources tab of the PLP website.  We have attempted to avoid covering the same ground as these other works.  Rather we have sought to capture some key aspects of our unique experience of implementing this IPC/IPE study program in order add to the shared knowledge about IPC learning for healthcare professionals.  This site has been designed to allow visitors to select an individual topic that interests you or to download the IPC Team Resource Kit in its entirety.   These materials are copyrighted by the © Partnered Learning Project, 2009.
